Below is Exhibit A for my “Father of the Year” award.
Emilie experienced a bit of food coma one afternoon while bouncing.
As Steph mentioned, Emilie is really getting around the house now. This video doesn’t really show it off, so I’ll have to get more soon. But, you can see a few of the tricks she’s mastered in this video: crawling, torturing Penny, and attempting to steal Ava’s pacifier.
Ava started crawling last week. It’s more of a brute force motion with her arms, but she’s still able to propel herself forward. Emilie is practicing a more refined method.
So, today I was feeding Emilie and she decided she was done after three minutes of nursing. I was not convinced, so I put my finger in her mouth and she bit down…low and behold, there was a little tooth breaking the surface. I am freaking out about this. Mainly, because I cannot believe they are actually turning into little humans. I know all about child development and know about “teething” and such BUT I never thought MY little preemies would grow up!! lt’s happening too fast.
Well, this prompted me to immediately check Ava’s mouth. Nope, she’s still my little gummi bear. Sheesh, one thing at a time.
Stephanie
I was in charge of feeding the girls recently. Ava was causing so much trouble I just had to get video of the experience. Emilie’s time in the chair is in the second half.

The girls had their first taste of solid food a few weeks ago. Ava was into it – Emilie not so much.
