The first 4D ultrasound was a bust – both babies were sleeping and covering their faces with either umbilical cords or their arms. The ultrasound folks were nice enough to let us come back for a second round, free of charge.

Stephanie was optimistic that we’d see some movement and better pictures of their faces because they were freaking out inside of her all day long. But, it turns out that they just tired themselves out so they slept through the entire second ultrasound. We still were able to get a few good shots of their faces and some great video of Baby B hiccuping and both babies yawning. Here’s what to look for:

42 – Baby A’s still a girl!

01 – Baby A’s profile and nose

31 – Baby A’s umbilical cord stacked on top of her face

00 – A 3D image of Baby A’s face

14 – Great video of Baby B with hiccups

01 – Baby B’s arm and hand covering her face

54 – Baby B’s foot

25 – Baby B’s butt (still having hiccups) sitting on top of Baby A’s head

08 – Baby B’s foot in front of Baby A’s face

43 – A 2D view of Baby A’s face

50 – The ultrasound tech pushing on Baby B on the right, trying to get her to move her arm

26 – Baby B mid yawn, with tongue sticking out

23 – Baby B’s face with arm in front

07 – From left to right, Baby B’s bent knee, arm, and face

50 – Same as above

11 – Baby A’s head pushing on Stephanie’s bladder to the right

44 – A practice breath or yawn from Baby A

06 – Baby B’s face

33 – Baby B’s heartbeat

33 – Baby B’s four fingers
