Doesn’t that sound fun!! This is my official diagnosis from my orthopedic hand specialist. Here is what the Mayo Clinic says about it:

In de Quervain’s tenosynovitis, the sheath of the tendons on the thumb side of your wrist becomes inflamed or swollen, restricting the tendons’ movement. The result with de Quervain’s tenosynovitis is discomfort and pain every time <emphasis added> you turn your wrist, grasp anything or make a fist.

I have had the maximum doses of steroid treatments (via injections… Yeah more fun) and so if it persists, I will need a “minor surgery”… isn’t that an oxymoron?

Anyway, the girls are growing and doing well. We have tried mangosĀ  for the first time the other day and love it!!

Last night Ava weighed 16lb 8oz and Emilie was 15lb 13oz. She is closing the 1.5 lb gap!! You go girl…
