Well we finally put up the second crib. This was a hard decision for us but ultimately it had to be done. Emilie is our little “world (crib)” traveler at night and is constantly moving toward Ava, kicking, and waking her up. Because we are desperate for the girls to sleep through the night…we are willing to try anything….even if that means they have to be separated. We consider this a gift to Ava on her 5 month birthday.
We were hoping to move prior to this happening but since we cannot get an answer on our offer for a house… we will just have to move two cribs… there could be worse things in life.

The girls and I attended a new mom’s tea with the twin’s club… note the little beauties in the bottom right corner… cutest babies in the bunch I have to say… sorry.

We (I mean Santa) bought the girls this exersaucer for Christmas. They are both fascinated with it…

Ava and Emilie attended their first birthday party this past weekend. The swim instructor, Tracy, took both of them into the water for the first time. Ava was not so sure but Emilie loved it… just like being in the womb…
Ava has found a new way of communicating with us. This is amusing most of the time – at 4am not so much.

Ava stayed up too late…

This was taken a couple of months ago. I thought they would be rolling over by now, but at five months they still haven’t quite got the hang of it.

I forgot to mention in the last post that we are also trying to buy a house. We have an offer in on a home and hope to hear if it was accepted tomorrow… as if life is not crazy enough.
I am pretty sure they teach us in social work school to coach our patients to only tackle one major life event at a time (am I right, lexie?) What the heck… I say bring it on!!
(Jason is prepared that I may end up in the fetal position once or twice which has been known to happen during stressful times).
Now everyone pray that in the next two days the Feds lower the interest rates to 4.5.%
